There are two differences between them, which are the material used and their splash guard. The EZ mount is made up of aluminum while the 3-bolt mount is made up of stainless steel.

The EZ mount has a removable splash guard whereas the 3-bolt mount has a built-in hush cushion (non-removable splash guard). In terms of mounting, the EZ mount is easier and a bit faster when compared with the 3-bolt mount.
